Our Graduation Party at Claytor Lake!

After graduation we had to throw a HUGE party to celebrate being DONE with medical school, so we packed up our families and headed off to the lake for a big BBQ.

This is my med. school family. Life would have been really hard with out these amazing friends. When we are all done with residency we are going to plan a huge VCOM reunion! CAN'T WAIT!

I reserved this sign in October to make sure that this day was mine! Nate was SO surprised when we were driving out to graduation and saw this sign along the way. I'm SO PROUD of him!

We had a BYOM party... Nick wasn't fooling around... shoot... I didn't post the picture of the steaks he grilled up too! He gave all the new DO's a lobster tail... they were SO GOOD!

Dr.'s Tracy Carter (opthomoligy) , Nick Branscomb (annasteia), Nate Evans (OB/GYN), Wayne Davis (Opthomoligy) and John Baugh (Orthopedic Surgery)

I LOVE how they all held their knives like scafels! (seriously, excuse the spelling, I'm not the doctor here!)

They all graduated on Saturday May 30th. On Sunday we all met up after church in the RS room and watched a little slide show that I made up of our memories of medical school, I even set it up to music. After that we said "Good-Bye".

John and Nick are off to Florida, Wayne is in Las Vegas and Tracy is in Columbus OH, only 1 1/2 hours from us!, and we are in Akron OH for residency. It was so hard to say Good bye. Us wives all served in the young women's program, at one point 4 of the 5 of us made up the presidency! We've all laughed together, we've prayed together, we've been to hospital rooms to welcome new babies. We've spent holidays together, Halloween, Easter, New Years, even Christmas Eve. For the past 4 years they were my family.

I really can't wait for our reunion.
