The kids are so excited for Halloween, and they have already gotten to use their costumes a couple of times! About a week ago the PTA had a big Halloween party and the kids got to dress up for it, and yesterday was the Ward Halloween party. Austin is a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle", "Rafael" to be exact, and Andrew is your normal Ninja.
I don't think you can see it very well, but Austin actually does have a shell on his back! I'm going to have to take a better picture so you can see it.
They take their role as Ninja very seriously! We've had some amazing ninja battles take place in our home over the last couple of weeks. There has been bitter tears of defeat, and the sweet taste of victory... and the ultimate fear... of Mom catching them with sticks in the house!

The costumes are adorable (and so are the boys!). The guys really have that "ninja stance" down-pat! :-D It's really nice that they have had more than just one occasion to wear their costumes.
PERFECT little boy costumes! They sure are taking it seriously. :)
